Jr IT Recruiter

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Full-Time,  Jr IT Sourcer/Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring top IT talent. This is a remote role based in the U.S.   This role is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

The ideal candidate will collaborate regularly with Blue Rose Management to identify current and future hiring needs and will use advanced sourcing techniques to build a strong pipeline of IT professionals. In addition to sourcing, the recruiter will conduct technical interviews to assess candidates' IT knowledge, skills, and experience.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement an effective IT-specific recruiting strategy
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers and technical teams to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, websites, and social media channels
• Manage candidate flow and job postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Source and recruit passive and active candidates using databases, social media, advanced Boolean search techniques, and IT-specific platforms like GitHub or Stack Overflow
• Screen candidate resumes and applications to assess technical skills and qualifications
• Conduct structured technical interviews using reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods, such as coding challenges or technical assessments
• Assess applicants’ technical knowledge, soft skills, and experience in IT roles, including relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, CompTIA, Cisco)
• Provide well-documented recruiting reports and metrics to the team
• Act as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the selection process, ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Promote Blue Rose’s mission to create impactful, meaningful solutions

A successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred but not required
• Proven work experience as a Sourcer or Recruiter in the IT field, with at least 3 years of experience
• IT background or technical experience highly desired
• Thorough understanding of IT roles, technology stacks, and career progression
• Strong knowledge of IT certifications and clearance requirements, particularly in Government and DoD environments
• Hands-on experience with advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, X-ray search, and sourcing through IT communities (e.g., GitHub, Stack Overflow, Reddit)
• Solid ability to conduct technical interviews and assess candidates for roles in areas such as software development, cloud computing, DevOps, and cybersecurity
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Experience using various ATS tools
