Your missions

Overview:

Tier One Technologies is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to work on a Contract-to-Hire position with our direct US Government client.
This will be a 100% remote role.
Must be a US Citizen and have CISSP certification.
SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities:

Act as a lead security designer, provide expertise in all areas of cybersecurity.
Create security assessment reports.
Design and maintain security controls for applications and infrastructure.
Implement, network segregation, and device security.
Enhance security monitoring and detection systems.
Create and manage all security documentation and testing.
Perform vulnerability scans and assessments.
Formulate and administer Cyber Security policies and procedures to define and enhance capabilities and performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field.
8-10 years of experience in the Cyber Security or related field.
Have an active CISSP certification.
Proficiency in Cyber Security, Information Assurance (IA), Vulnerability, Scans.
Ability to designs security strategy and strong familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust.
Must be a US Citizen.
Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
