PKH is a nonprofit ed tech company designed to help the University of North Carolina System grow the number of adult learners through online delivery at the undergraduate level. We are equipping universities within the UNC System with best-in-class technology, processes, and student support solutions so they can better compete with out-of-state, online universities.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management to join our team and play a key role in helping our partner institutions grow their student census and create a best-in-class admissions and enrollment experience for North Carolina’s working adult students.
The Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management will develop and oversee the admissions and enrollment processes for students in our online university partner programs with a focus on delivering a best-in-class student experience throughout the admissions, financial aid, and transcript collection and evaluation processes standardizing to build efficiencies and customizing where needed to address the unique needs of each partner. In addition, the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management will be responsible for helping to build out an internal admissions and enrollment function including but not limited to recruiting, hiring and training staff, IT and operational coordination and integration and process and workflow development.
Responsibilities Include:Oversee and manage the entire enrollment process from inquiry to application submission through to the start of the term, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students that focuses on promise not process. Using a data driven approach, develop and implement strategies to optimize admissions and enrollment operations and increase student satisfaction and improve pipeline performance.
Develop and implement data driven operational initiatives that create and ensure a connected and delightful prospective student experience for our different prospective student populations. Working closely with the marketing team, ensure all prospective student touch points are engaging, informative, supportive and aligned with the voice of our partners’ brands.
Through support and close alignment with our partners, help build a best-in-class, seamless student finance experience ensuring clear communication of process and financial literacy. Develop strategies to streamline financial aid application, processing, and disbursement.
Develop and improve processes to help students with the identification, sourcing, and delivery of required transcripts. Work with partner institutions on student engagement and communication around the verification, evaluation and articulation of credit.
Provide guidance and support to the teams who support prospective and admitted students throughout the enrollment process. Collaborate with student success teams to ensure that the enrollment process supports long-term student engagement and retention.
Analyze admissions and enrollment data to manage and continuously improve the admissions and enrollment pipeline and ensure a connected and seamless student journey. Prepare reporting and analysis for various internal and external audiences.
Continuously gather and use qualitative and quantitative information including student feedback, pipeline data and information from our university partners to drive process improvement using change management best practices. Lead change management initiatives to implement new enrollment processes, ensuring staff and partner buy-in and smooth transitions.
Leveraging all the above, build strong, collaborative relationships with partner institutions to ensure goal and process alignment.
Lead and oversee our vendors and partner agencies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices in enrollment management, financial aid, and transcript collection and evaluation. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations.
Travel is expected up to 30-35% of the time with the ability to spend time with our partner institutions in North Carolina.
