Job Details:

  • Assessing, analysing and modelling market prices in order to optimise the prices we offer, ensuring our high standards of accuracy and governance are maintained.

  • Querying our data warehouses to track and analyse the performance of pricing and other testing activity, deriving insights to inform next steps.

  • Analysing a wide variety of data to conceive, develop and deploy robust tests of new pricing approaches, to enhance commercial performance.

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to support the development of new propositions, extending our pricing capability to support their needs.

  • Learning the practicalities of building advanced machine learning and statistical models, as well as effectively deploying them to deliver business benefits.

Skills we would love you to have:

  • Degree in a numerical discipline (e.g. mathematics, sciences, engineering, computing).

  • Previous experience working in a technical or analytical role, ideally in the Insurance industry.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large or complex datasets.

  • Experience using Python, R or similar code-based approaches to data analytics and statistical testing.
