Your missions

Title: Energy Analyst 
Location: Remote - preference given to candidates residing in the Eastern Time Zone

Ready to make a difference? 
ICF is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to support clients and projects on the Beneficial Electrification team in our Commercial Energy Division. Beneficial Electrification programs promote the displacement of fossil-fueled equipment with electric-powered equipment for clients and their customers. Examples of these programs include Fleet Electrification Advisory Services, Electric Vehicle (EV) and Electric Vehicle Support Equipment (EVSE) Incentive programs, EVSE infrastructure solutions, and Building Electrification Services. By supporting these programs, you will help customers save money and reduce emissions while also growing utility electricity sales. 

You will provide a variety of support including data analysis and reporting, fleet electrification assessments, program development and implementation, incentive application processing, and customer and trade ally outreach for Beneficial Electrification/EV programs.

What you will be doing: 

  • Support data analytics and program implementation for Beneficial Electrification and EV programs, including assisting with generating internal/client reports 
  • Conduct and deliver fleet assessments to evaluate the financial and environmental impacts of on-road and non-road electrification 
  • Analyze EV market trends, partners, and technologies to improve program delivery   
  • Research and track electrification policies, grants, and incentives 
  • Collaborate with program team members and cross functional teams to support program success 
  • Conduct outreach and develop relationships and partnerships with local, regional, and national market partners 

     
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):  

  • Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Sustainability, Environment, Data Analysis or related fields (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
  • 1+ year(s) of work experience within Electrification, Transportation, Energy Efficiency, data analysis and/or related experience  

 
What we would like you to have (preferred qualification):

  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation 
  • Electric vehicle (EV), transportations and/or fleet electrification experience or knowledge 
  • Research experience 

 
Professional skills you will use: 

  • Experience in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) 
  • Excellent written communications skills 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, remotely, and on projects with dynamic timelines 
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong outreach and communications abilities 
  • Related trade experience and the initiative to embrace continuous learning toward becoming an expert in the program technologies and offerings

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$43,379.00 - $73,744.00
