Job description

Policy Analyst

Key Role: 

Bring your consulting and strategic background to collaborate with thought leaders for a DoD client. Research and analyze U.S. government policies and strategic documentation. Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Provide a deep understanding of policy and strategy. Advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on decision making.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 4+ years of experience in research and analysis with U.S government policy and strategic documentation

  • Experience analyzing measures and metrics data

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Policy, Political Science, or Business Administration

Additional Qualifications:  

  • Experience working in a DoD environment

  • Experience with Python or R programming

  • Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Life Cycle

  • Possession of excellent detailed-oriented and organizational skills

  • Possession of excellent communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
