Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned product manager to join our team and accelerate our top emerging products initiative within the Fraud and Identity space. If you’re intrigued by solving one of the world’s most difficult problems, this could be the role for you. The product team at Socure has an ambitious goal of making the internet a safer place by verifying 100% of the good identities while eliminating identity fraud. This is a unique opportunity to grow early-stage products from the ground up and make them your own. 

You will work closely with customers to better understand what they need. You will set the strategic vision and product direction, you will work with super bright data scientists, engineers and designers to build it, and you will partner with sales to bring the product to market and expand its usage. The ideal candidate has a deep interest and experience in digital payments and data heavy products, and has demonstrated the ability to set a bold product direction and ship products to achieve business outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • You will identify and drive 0 to 1 product development at scale, making complex ecosystems simple and enabling teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible

  • Drive customer value and business impact by deeply understanding customer pain points and needs and move quickly to ship world-class products

  • You’ll lead an amazing cross functional team across data scientists, engineering, sales, product marketing, operations, finance and legal

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive products, and regulatory changes, and use this information to shape your product roadmap

  • You’ll develop the pricing strategy, monitor costs, and own your product’s profitability goals

  • Articulate complex subject matter in compelling easy-to-understand terms

  • Take ownership for the success of the team and the products within the suite
     

Required Qualifications: 
  • 6-8 years of Product Management experience with demonstrated ability to build a multi-quarter roadmap and shipping products to achieve it

  • Data savvy – demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Customer centered – you thrive on spending time directly with customers, establishing close relationships, and becoming their go to partners

  • Set the pace – you understand the scale of the opportunity ahead of you and move with urgency to deliver meaningful impact to our customers

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline, data science / analytics or related field

  • Ability to travel occasionally

Preferred Qualifications:
  • You’ll be familiar with payment networks and build consortiums at scale integrating account and payment information into knowledge graphs for external and internal users

  • Fraud domain experience – You understand and have worked within the fraud & identity domain, and understand the key principles of fraud investigation and identity verification

  • Experience working with data sets using SQL, Python or R

  • Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline

Salary Disclosure:

Base salary range: $180,000 - $210,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
