Veritas’ Worldwide Sales and Marketing team propels company growth by driving all aspects of sales and marketing, including direct and channel sales, global sales enablement and all marketing functions.

Responsibilities :
  • Sales Leaders manage the direct sales activity and results of their team within their assigned geography or vertical, and across all Veritas products/services.

  • Common responsibilities include hiring the right talent, effective deployment of their team, setting expectations, coaching, managing performance, pipeline management, and collaboration with other sales resources & Leaders (Sales Engineering, Overlay Specialists, Channels, Renewals).

  • May manage a large geographic area or country

  • Lead and coach Account Managers

  • Achieve new bookings quota

  • Drive and manage accurate forecasting, manage pipeline and deliver on quarterly commitments

  • The role will lead and manage a team to develop a high performing culture to enable acquiring and growing Veritas Enterprise Customers. 

  • Developing business strategy and sales execution in a high growth organization, via a team of sales quota carriers.

  • Delivering growth and margin targets for the aligned enterprise territory

  • Ability to create a vision and strategy providing decisive leadership to a senior management team and within the peer group

  • Lead the team to ensure maximum performance on bookings targets and operational excellence

  • Develop and drive GTM and execution strategies across the Enterprise Customers covering the solution offerings

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders in order to maximize business results

  • Build and maintain key senior relationships within the customers, partners and acts as the liaison for Veritas with those key stakeholders

  • Works across the business to support and develop customer high value offerings

  • Implements industry best practices across sales lifecycle, customer buying cycle, maintains high standards, acts as a role model for others

  • Recruits, builds and develops a high performing team to deliver business results

  • Ability to coach and lead from the front, develop account managers with annual and quarterly review meetings

  • Coaches and provides career development for every individual contributor

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of related experience; Master’s degree with 13+ years related experience; PhD with 10 years related experience; or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 8 years prior people management experience

  • Proven track record of sales success

  • Ability to influence effectively with key stakeholders

  • Regional GTM strategy definition capability

  • Ability to build and drive large complex deals

  • Very strong oral and written communication skills
