Job Description:

As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial operations across multiple business units. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with relevant accounting standards such as IFRS and local GAAP. Your expertise will help drive efficiency and support business growth.

Role Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and company policies.
• Oversight of Financial Operations: Lead the month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and management reporting. Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Internal Controls & Audit: Develop and maintain a strong control environment in line with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring any findings are addressed.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts.
• Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to department heads, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business decisions and optimize financial performance.
• Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Oversee the management of tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations. Partner with external consultants and auditors on statutory audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial systems, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in financial control and accounting, ideally within a multinational company.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
