  • Thorough understanding of U.S. legislative process, including the roles and decision-making processes of the Executive Agencies, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives.

  • Advise on our federal government affairs strategy.

  • Analyze proposed legislation and regulations and advise the business on potential impacts.

  • Monitor and identify critical industry developments, providing timely insights for issues and actions that could affect present and future business opportunities.

  • Advocate for policy positions on behalf of the company.

  • Serve as an advocate and DraftKings representative in public policy forums, conferences, and political events.

What you’ll Bring
  • 10+ years of federal public policy work

  • Experience working in a Congressional office and/or private sector experience as part of a federal government affairs team.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex and ambiguous policies into clear, concise summaries of issues.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to identify and pursue strategic business objectives and propose impactful solutions to new demands, priorities, and challenges.
