Solution Architect II

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to TWDB to design augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) trainings.
• Produce three-dimensional models and other multimedia assets to be used in VR trainings.
• Design, program, and script the end-to-end AR and VR experience with Unity software.
• Review and summarize current industry standards for use of VR technology as a training tool;
• Compare TWDB’s VR training courses to industry standards;
• Provide a prioritized list of recommended updates and enhancements to align TWDB’s VR trainings with industry standards;
• Ensure that all VR training assets meet TWDB and CDC quality training standards and meet requirements for SCORM-conformance and Section 508 compliance;
• Provide recommendations on how to prepare laboratory professionals to deliver live hands-on training in a VR environment;
• Develop job aids and facilitate trainings on best practices for delivering live training in VR;
• Provide live demonstrations of TWDB’s VR training courses at internal and external partner meetings;
• Continually update the status of VR training project action items, milestones, and deliverables.
