About the Role:

Following a review of the Compensation Partner Team with respect to supporting the next phase of Confluent continued success and growth, an opportunity has arisen to join the global compensation team as an experienced Conpensation Partner, based in India.  

The primary areas of focus for the role are:

  • Compensation consulting to support adaptation and execution of annual cyclical Compensation programs, business initiatives and other BAU activities.
  • Analytical support to the compensation partner team in terms of Compensation data management & many related activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide insights into local Compensation nuances and practices to help improve the alignment, adaptation and delivery of the global compensation philosophy and programs into the local market(s) - having the ability to think global and act local. 
  • Actively contribute to the design and delivery of the Year End and Mid Year Compensation Cycle’s with the broader global compensation team. Also includes actively supporting local People Business Partners, Business Leaders in Compensation training/education, guidance and related activities.
  • Support the Compensation Partners, People Business Partners and Business Leaders in the various aspects of Compensation consulting, analytical support, modeling, market competitive recommendations and ongoing training/education etc. for business initiatives, transformation and change.
  • Lead and manage the global Compensation tool (currently PayFactors) in order to deliver and maintain compensation ranges, the associated Confluent and market data and future evolution of the current set up.
  • Support Talent Acquisition activities in terms of compensation opportunities related to hiring into the local markets.
  • Support to the completion of the growing Pay Transparency landscape as is required for various countries including EMEA
  • As part of a global growing company, participate in various projects as is needed, including cash and equity compensation analysis, Compensation administration and potentially M&A activities.

What You Will Bring:

  • Excellent Compensation consulting, analysis experience gaining through active involvement and familiarization of the key Comp programs (including cash and equity Compensation)
  • Experience in the use of Compensation Tools i.e. Pay Factors or similar
  • Excellent Excel/G-Sheet analytical skills and proven experience with market intelligence, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of local compensation trends, requirements and related activities
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to manage to deadlines and multiple priorities work under pressure and handle Confidential information appropriately
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Qualifications: Degree in Business, HR or equivalent. MBA and CCP designation preferred
  • Minimum of 6+ years experience focused on compensation
