The Engineering Team's mission at Orum is to expand our product portfolio to address the acute pain points of sales prospecting teams. There is still a lot more to build to get to our vision. That's why we need you to join our growing team! You will be in a high impact role leading, mentoring, and working on a product that customers love and make a huge difference in their lives.

Our current technology stack includes NodeJS with Typescript, Ruby, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH.

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000. If you are selected, we'll make an offer within this range that matches the experience you are coming with. We respect your time and don't intend to waste it.

Job Responsibilities
  • Hiring and managing a team of engineers.
  • Work with leadership to shape and refine the product vision and technical architecture for Orum and communicate those to your team.
  • Defining, planning, and delegating engineering tasks to be done, and communicating needs, expectations, or progress with stakeholders across the company.
  • Enabling the engineers in your team to do the work by reviewing, coaching, providing feedback, problem-solving, and removing roadblocks.
  • Setting a high technical standard, and coaching your team to consistently meet those standards.

  • Must Have
  • You are based in the USA. This position is not open to other countries at this time.
  • You have 3+ years managing an engineering team that have shipped a high-value SaaS product.
  • You value engineering rigor - simple, well-factored, well-tested code - and know how to coach other engineers on those skills.
  • You care about coaching and growing engineers.
  • You have experience with TypeScript/NodeJS/Linux stack.
  • You have experience working with an RDBMS using SQL.
