The Position

IT Business Analyst 

Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) - Budapest, Hungary

As a Business Analyst, you play an active part in the lifecycle of our IT solutions which support the global learning management processes at Roche. The prime focus is to make sure that any solution is chosen to fulfill known and understood business requirements. You make sure that solutions fit into our IT roadmap and landscape and continuously provide business value over the lifecycle. To do that, you collaborate with our internal business stakeholders, you oversee and perform analytical and conceptual activities in order to understand business processes and problems, define requirements, solutions and application design.

The Opportunity

  • Connect business representatives to understand business processes and needs 

  • Maintain excellent relationships with IT and business stakeholders and ensure proper and timely communication on all activities related to our IT solutions

  • Create accepted analysis and specifications of the process, requirements, solution and application design

  • Challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions

  • Provide analytical services to projects and operations, taking future needs trends in technology into account

  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of features or solutions and ensure business needs

  • Contribute to the functional roadmap of all learning IT solutions by bringing ideas and shaping the overall learning IT landscape in scope and align priorities of all system activities

Who you are

  • Degree in informatics or business 

  • Proven work experience in a multinational environment

  • Experience IT Project and Agile Methodologies in mid and large scale projects and products

  • Excellent English knowledge is a must

  • Efficient presentation, written and oral communication skills

  • Team player attitude as you will have to work in a virtual global team, but you also have a strong ability to work as a single contributor
