Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. How Will You Contribute to the Company?

The Director, Executive Communications will be responsible for designing and managing a strategic and impactful employee and external communications program for the Head of Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions, as well as provide support for key leadership team members to engage employees and external audiences. Reporting to the Head of Employee & Executive Communications, this individual contributor will develop and manage a program focused on supporting business objectives and building employee satisfaction and engagement.

What Will You Do?
  • Assess current executive communications and then design and execute a strategic plan

  • Develop written and visual content, such as talking points, briefing packages, emails, scripts, presentations, speeches, videos and other materials as required

  • Create an external speaking platform that promotes Ericsson as an industry leader in enterprise utilizing key executives

  • Collaborate with members of the communications and marketing teams on speaking engagements, media opportunities, messaging and internal campaigns

  • Work with product and technology experts to create compelling stories and narratives

  • Support all-employee meetings, leaders' forums and other employee-focused meetings

  • Produce engaging content for channels such as social media, blogs and Viva Engage

  • Support executives’ social media presence and engagement

  • Lead the development of written and visual materials for keynotes and other speaking engagements

  • Provide communications coaching and advice to business area executives

  • Measure and report program results to determine the impact of strategies and tactics

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, public relations or a related field

  • Eight (8+) years of progressive communications experience, including executive, employee and external experience

  • Significant experience supporting a C-level executive’s communications

  • Proven ability to distill and articulate technology topics in a clear, compelling way and exciting way, avoiding industry jargon

  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing, editing, proofreading and presentation building

  • Extensive experience with social media channels, especially supporting a leader’s LinkedIn presence

  • While there is a primary location listed on this requisition, other locations may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enterprise, telecommunications, ICT or similar technology industry experience

At Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.  

 

Your Pay: 

The salary range for this position is listed below.  The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

  

$131,950.00 - $245,050.00

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus and a cash-based long-term incentive. These variable pay opportunities are dependent upon the attainment of goals and objectives as determined by our Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your work-life balance is important to us. Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays).  Please note that an employees FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. We also offer paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
