You Will Bring:
- Strategic Vision & Communication:
- Articulate and present the Datavant Site Connect technology and vision to C-level executives, technical contributors, and key stakeholders at prospects and customers.
- Tailor and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that align Datavant’s solutions with the specific business needs and strategic goals of customers.
- Customer Engagement & Solution Design:
- Partner with prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle to provide hands-on technical expertise, from initial demo to proof of concept (POC) to detailed solution design and implementation.
- Conduct deep discovery of customer architectures, identifying pain points and opportunities, and align them with Datavant’s Standard Data Model to propose optimal solutions.
- Lead POC efforts as assigned
- Industry Expertise & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and complementary technologies to position Datavant’s offerings effectively.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of the healthcare data ecosystem to inform product positioning and differentiate Datavant’s solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Delivery, and Marketing teams to provide customer feedback, influence product roadmap decisions, and improve overall product-market fit.
- Contribute to the creation of technical marketing content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and technical blogs, that highlight the strengths of Datavant’s solutions.
What you will bring to the table:
- Experience & Expertise:
- 6+ years of experience in the healthcare data industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a pre-sales or solutions architecture role.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Broad experience with large-scale Database and Data Warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies, including Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics, with the ability to guide customers in leveraging these tools within their existing infrastructures.
- Proven ability to connect a customer’s specific business challenges with Datavant’s technology solutions, crafting proposals that address both immediate needs and long-term goals.
- Architectural & Analytical Skills:
- Expertise in conducting thorough discovery of customer architecture frameworks and aligning them with Datavant’s data solutions.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience; a Master’s in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus.
- Familiarity with top EHR systems like Cerner and Epic is a plus.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $115,000 - $232,000.
