Job description

Hire Resolve's client is excited to announce an opening for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor specializing in construction, with the flexibility to work remotely. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a virtual environment and is ready to contribute to innovative construction projects while managing costs effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Manage and analyze project costs and financial forecasts.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and monitor changes in the work scope.
Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contract agreements and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulations.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
Provide detailed reports on budgeting, expenditures, and forecasts for effective decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the construction sector.
Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of construction contracts (ECC, NEC, JBCC, etc.) and standards.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Must have a reliable internet connection and the ability to work remotely.
