Description

  

Job Summary:

The Inventory & Procurement Analyst will be responsible for the procurement of inventory from vendors around the globe – focused on maintaining sufficient stock levels for domestic and international clients. Key aspects of the role include stock management, data insights, procurement, and inventory reporting. The Inventory & Procurement Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining correspondence with regional sales teams on inventory levels and production delays.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintains sufficient inventory levels for servicing core business: commercial, national accounts, and stocking programs.
  • Facilitates clear communication and data integrity to multiple teams – including Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, and ICS.
  • Production scheduling, performing cost analyses, and managing shipment and receipt of goods.
  • Monitors purchase order changes, deletions, and additions to avoid supply chain interruptions.
  • Provides weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting on stock levels, discontinuations, and SKU performance.
  • Communicates with vendors regarding inventory discrepancies and makes the necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and profitability.
  • Records, tracks, and monitors inbound and outbound supply shipments.
  • Maintains inventory records and communicates changes with regard to increases/decreases in turnover on stocking program SKUs.
  • Occasionally directs shipments of material from international vendors to customer project locations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 3-5 years’ purchasing, supply chain, or logistics experience.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products including MS Word, MS Outlook and advanced      proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business one or similar software.
