Web Developer / Wordpress Hotshot

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Web Developer / WordPress Hotshot to join our dynamic internal team. If you're a WordPress wizard who thrives on creating stunning, high-performance websites and is eager to contribute to a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

What will you do? You will…

• Collaborate with the internal team to design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress.
  

• Utilize and customize WP plugins, particularly Gravity Forms, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and Yoast SEO, to enhance website functionality and performance.
  

• Write clean, efficient HTML and CSS to build responsive, user-friendly web pages.
  

• Apply your knowledge of PHP to develop and customize WordPress sites, ensuring optimal performance.
  

• Work with page builder software to create and manage web content easily.
  

• Monitor and analyze site metrics, utilizing Google Analytics to inform decisions and improve user experience.
  

• Manage and optimize DNS records to ensure smooth website operations.
  

• Provide insights and support for SEO strategies to boost website visibility and rankings.
  

• Use Go High Level and Zapier to automate and streamline workflows.
  

• Gain a working knowledge of the Genesis Framework and contribute to projects where applicable.
  

We’re looking for familiarity with the following entities to help supplement our web development team: Mastery of WordPress, HTML+CSS, thorough knowledge of PHP and page builder software (we use Kadence), strong understanding of SEO, site speed tactics and site metrics (and GA), knowledge of website server configuration and DNS records. Cloudflare and Go HighLevel experience is a big win.

Requirements

You might be the one if you have…

• 2-3 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on WordPress.
  

• Proficiency in WP plugins, particularly Gravity Forms, ACF, and Yoast SEO.
  

• Strong HTML, CSS, and PHP skills, with experience in customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
  

• Comfortable using page builder software to create engaging, responsive websites.
  

• Understanding of SEO principles and experience in applying them to website development.
  

• Familiarity with Google Analytics and interpreting site metrics to improve performance.
  

• Experience with Go High Level and Zapier is highly desirable.
  

• Knowledge of the Genesis Framework and DNS records management is a plus.
  

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
