Senior Commercial Claims Specialist

SUMMARY

Are you an experienced commercial claims professional looking to make an impact? Frontline Insurance is seeking a Senior Commercial Claims Specialist to assist policyholders throughout the entire claims process. This role requires the ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, based on customer and business needs (e.g., in response to claim volume fluctuations due to catastrophic weather).

In this position, you will handle a caseload encompassing all levels of complexity for first-party claims. Responsibilities include establishing facts of loss, conducting thorough reserve and coverage analysis, assessing and estimating property damage, and identifying potential fraud for timely investigation and resolution. As a Senior Commercial Claims Specialist, you will also serve as a mentor to junior adjusters and assist with training.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance (Short-Term and Long-Term), as well as Pet Insurance, and four weeks of PTO. Plan for your future with our 401(k) Retirement Plan, where we match 100% of your first 3% contribution and 200% of the next 3%. Enjoy our business casual environment while contributing to meaningful work.

  • Daily Communication: Check emails and messages daily, responding to all calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Negotiation Skills: Apply advanced negotiation skills to resolve disputed claims with insureds or their legal representatives.
  • Appraisal Coordination: Manage the appraisal process and maintain communication to ensure timely progress.
  • Documentation: Draft denial letters for management approval and complete or review reservation of rights letters, payment explanations, and other correspondence as necessary.
  • Fraud Detection: Identify and refer claims with subrogation potential to the subrogation department and cases with potential NICB fraud indicators.
  • Virtual Investigations: Utilize video technology for virtual investigations and resolution of claims as appropriate.
  • File Closure: Close all files in a timely and complete manner.
  • Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and trainer for junior adjusters, assisting in their development and skill enhancement.
  • Compliance: Strictly adhere to best practices, operational guidelines, and statutory requirements.
