The Data Experiences design system team builds and maintains a sub system and standards for data centric tools that are used in products and services at Walmart, which enhance the lives of millions of Americans. As a UX Designer for design systems, you’ll be an integral part of driving inclusive, scalable, and useful solutions to a broad set of teams, transforming complex information and tasks into easy-to-use patterns for millions of customers and associates. To do this, you’ll create scalable solutions that balance business, technology, and brand considerations. You will create and champion an experience that is highly engaging, usable and deliver pixel-perfect detailed designs. You will build relationships with your product, engineering, and design partners to evangelize the power of design systems and embed them across the organization.
In addition, there are opportunities help on conventional feature driven work from time to time, so you can see through patterns and help connect them into workflows for launch.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have:
Strategic and tactical points of view to maintain and build design guidelines,
such as style guides, pattern libraries, and components that ensure
consistency in visual design, interaction design, and user experience.

Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, Graphic Design or similar and 2+ years of experience in UX design.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 4 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.

The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
