We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our esteemed team of lending professionals. Position Type: Remote

Compensation: \(45,000 - \)50,000 yearly

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and request third-party documentation necessary for residential home loans, ensuring the creation and maintenance of precise mortgage loan files.
• Serve as the primary liaison for title companies, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, borrowers, and underwriters to facilitate timely loan closings.
• Verify that all loan files, credit packages, and disclosure documents adhere to company lending policies as well as federal and state regulations.
• Efficiently submit loan file documentation into designated software applications.
• Collect and confirm loan documentation, including title insurance, loan applications, credit reports, appraisals, and income declarations, ensuring timely delivery to underwriting for review.
  
  

Required Skills

• Exceptional abilities in time management and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current residential mortgage loans, including FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loans. Familiarity with commercial and refinance loans is advantageous.
• Thorough understanding of the mortgage industry, particularly federal and state regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in mortgage loan processing with familiarity across various loan types and regulatory standards.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus.
