Investment and Corporate Banking - Real Estate Analyst/Associate (Remote | WFH)

Position Overview

We are in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Investment and Corporate Banking Analyst/Associate to become an integral part of our esteemed Real Estate Team. This role is pivotal in guiding real estate enterprises and sponsors through capital raise initiatives, strategic partnerships, and optimized capital structures. Our team also plays a crucial role in lending to our real estate clients, facilitating a comprehensive suite of core products across both equity and debt channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Industry Expertise: Cultivate specialization in the real estate domain with a focus on core sectors such as Shopping Centers, Net Lease, and Malls while staying informed on industry trends and client developments.
  • Financial Acumen: Acquire in-depth knowledge of capital markets and the financial instruments that real estate companies leverage to enhance their strategy and growth.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform thorough research and analysis to aid projects and advisory activities, including financial modeling, valuation, comparable analyses, and market-specific evaluations.
  • Idea Generation: Drive and coordinate innovative idea generation and solutions within the product group.
  • Client Communication: Prepare impactful client pitches and marketing collateral for M&A, Advisory, and Capital Markets engagements.
  • Transaction Support: Assist in the structuring of financing, underwriting transactions, conducting due diligence, and ensuring successful execution.
  • Relationship Building: Support the development and nurturing of client relationships.
  • Data Management: Uphold internal databases to monitor comparables, deal flow, and capital market activities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics is required.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance and capital markets is essential.
  • Relevant experience in the Real Estate sector, either academic or professional, is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets, and risk & pricing analysis is necessary.
  • Series 79 & 63 certifications are required at hiring or shortly thereafter.

Compensation And Benefits

  • The anticipated base salary ranges from \(100K to \)225K, based on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, market factors, and organizational considerations.
  • Successful applicants may also receive a discretionary bonus along with a comprehensive employee benefits package.

Working Model
