Job Title: Cyber Network Defense Analyst IV - Security Clearance Required - Remote

Job Overview

We invite you to become a pivotal member of our esteemed organization, recognized for our specialization in advanced cybersecurity and intelligence services. Our commitment is to confront the most intricate challenges in cyber operations and systems integration, and we are seeking a proficient Cyber Network Defense Analyst IV to join our remote team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Artifact Collection: Gather and acquire digital artifacts such as malware and user activity during onsite engagements.
  • Forensic Analysis: Evaluate electronic devices to determine evidentiary significance, correlating forensic findings with network events to construct intrusion narratives.
  • Incident Response: Conduct forensic triage and documentation analysis, tracking incidents from initial participation through to resolution.
  • Collaboration: Partner with government personnel and client staff to validate alerts and thoroughly investigate preliminary findings.
  • Network Traffic Analysis: Analyze network traffic for irregular activities, validate IDS alerts, and reconstruct malicious attacks based on available data.
  • Reporting: Document and escalate incidents, perform cyber defense trend analysis, and provide daily summaries of network events.

Required Skills

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber defense analysis with a focus on forensic analysis and cyber investigative reporting.
  • Proficient in utilizing cyber defense tools, analyzing attacks, and familiar with operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or a high school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications: Desirable certifications include GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, GSEC, among others.
