Job Overview

We invite you to become an integral part of our esteemed Information Systems team as an Epic Analyst specializing in Data Courier and Release Management. This pivotal remote position is designed for professionals who will oversee and enhance Epic Data Courier operations, ensuring the effective management of data processes while facilitating timely system updates and migrations. Your contributions will play a crucial role in fostering efficient information security solutions in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Data Courier functionalities with a comprehensive understanding of Epic Projects and their data structures.
  • Oversee EGC records and manage Data Courier Interfaces effectively.
  • Implement changes as recommended by Epic Technical Considerations, collaborating closely with Application teams to evaluate impacts.
  • Ensure synchronization of environments by managing System Definition INIs.
  • Uphold Change Control processes and drive process improvements across all Epic Applications.
  • Provide training and support to analysts regarding Data Courier and Content Management practices.
  • Develop and manage Content Management, Data Courier ECLS, and IPGs.
  • Map and maintain provisioning for Epic Content Management, Data Courier, Sherlock, and Nova.
  • Coordinate and track migrations for Epic Project builds as well as Non-Project builds, including Monthly Maintenance.
  • Assist in managing resources pertinent to Epic, such as IMO, Medispan, Exitcare, and Micromedex.
  • Create and update process documentation and knowledge base articles for Data Courier, Environment Release, and Testing.
  • Conduct monthly audits of Production migrations.
  • Understand and document Epic Environment structures, ensuring stability for Epic applications.
  • Resolve issues related to Epic applications and maintain effective communications regarding Epic Environment activities.
  • Collaborate with Epic Technical Consultants and Application teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Assist in coordinating Integrated Testing during significant releases and manage Integrated Testing processes.
  • Help develop new test scripts alongside Project Teams and conduct Migration Audits during Integrated Testing Weeks.
  • Work with software vendors and application teams to implement automated testing for Epic.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Data Courier and Content Management Structures.
  • Familiarity with Epic Build, Implementation, and Support processes.
  • Understanding of Epic Release Management and Integrated Testing.
  • Exceptional communication abilities adaptable to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree complemented by at least 1+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical, or IT settings.
  • Proven experience with Data Courier and Content Management Structures is essential.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with Eggplant Testing Automation Software Administration are preferred.
  • Epic Application or Data Courier Administration Certification is desirable.
