Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Portfolio Consulting Manager specializing in Transmission, to join our innovative team. This remote position, based in Upstate New York, offers the opportunity to lead a talented team while providing cutting-edge consulting services to energy asset developers, utilities, and system operators. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Inspire: Mentor and guide a diverse group of consultants, promoting a culture of continuous learning and celebrating achievements.
• Drive Business Development: Champion our consulting services and cultivate strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Client Engagement: Manage client interactions, oversee project management, and ensure that high-quality consulting services are delivered.
• Effective Communication: Employ your exceptional presentation and writing skills to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability in business development and client relationship management.
• Technical proficiency in power systems and consulting methodologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in power systems consulting, specifically within utilities, ISOs, transmission organizations, or renewable developers.
• Proficient in transmission or distribution principles, with advanced experience using tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD/EMTDC, PowerGEM TARA, or Aspen OneLiner.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Preferred: Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and familiarity with NYISO, ISO-NE, PJM, or SPP.
