Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Retention Consultant to join our team in Stock Plan Services. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in devising impartial strategies aimed at retaining our ESOP clients. Your expertise will be vital as you conduct comprehensive assessments of client accounts, analyze pricing structures, and utilize your relationships across Sales, CRM teams, Sales Leadership, and RFP teams to formulate impactful retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of client accounts and assess pricing models.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Consultants to present tailored solutions to clients, particularly in competitive RFP contexts.
  • Customize retention strategies based on insights gathered through exhaustive administrative reviews.
  • Ensure transparent and strategic communication between our service team and clients/advisors throughout the retention process.
  • Share best practices in real-time with sales teams and relationship managers to enhance client retention efforts.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with advisors and consultants to accurately gauge client circumstances.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education and professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in retirement sales, showcasing strong technical proficiency in defined contribution, defined benefit, non-qualified plans, or Trust & Custody products.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Profound understanding of industry trends, portfolio construction, capital markets, financial service products, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, tackle complex challenges, and exhibit leadership qualities.
  • Advanced analytical skills related to pricing and plan design, alongside negotiation and presentation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing intricate projects and RFP submissions.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

  • Salary Range: \(123,000 - \)167,000 annually, commensurate with experience and location.
