Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Medical Case Manager, where your expertise in nursing and case management will be instrumental in transforming the lives of injured workers. This remote role offers the unique opportunity to provide personalized and high-quality care while collaborating with a nationwide team committed to enhancing health and recovery for those affected by occupational injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate independently from your home office while maintaining close collaboration with a dedicated nationwide team.
  • Provide expert case management support to federal workers facing occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Design and oversee case plans that facilitate recovery through various stages of the healing process.
  • Act as a crucial communication link between patients, healthcare professionals, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and document patient progress to ensure recovery goals are consistently achieved.
  • Coordinate disability management services, emphasizing prevention and minimization of long-term disabilities.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in working autonomously while demonstrating effective communication across phone, email, and text formats.
  • Solid computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and a comprehensive understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for a home office setup.

Qualifications

  • Possession of an unrestricted Registered Nursing License in any U.S. state.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience, with at least 3 years specifically in case management, workers’ compensation, or occupational health.
  • Preference will be given to candidates holding National Certification in case management (or a related field).
  • U.S. Citizenship is a requirement, with candidates needing to pass a background and credit check upon hiring.
