Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Program/Project Administrator for our School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) Program. In this pivotal remote role, you will facilitate effective communication and collaboration among students, faculty, and partner organizations. This position not only provides a platform to influence the future of social work and mental health services in educational settings but also fosters professional growth and networking opportunities within the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and actively recruit promising Master of Social Work (MSW) students for participation in the SBMH cohort.
  • Collaborate in updating and enhancing the MSW curriculum to ensure alignment with SBMH program objectives.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with community partners to broaden practicum placement options and cultivate partnerships with local schools.
  • Develop and disseminate marketing and training materials, including videos, social media content, and brochures, aimed at raising awareness of SBMH as a career path.
  • Provide mentorship to MSW students, guiding them through their educational and professional journeys, including job search strategies and licensure preparation.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of program data, supporting the development of reports and presentations.
  • Represent the SBMH program at various events and meetings, communicating its activities, goals, and achievements.
  • Support the achievement of grant objectives, overseeing financial practices and managing the program budget.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in collaborating with community organizations and a comprehensive understanding of multicultural and multilingual populations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside robust organizational capabilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with grant management and reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a closely related field by the start date.
  • Recent experience (within the last four years) in school-based mental health services is preferred.
  • Proven track record of working with grant-funded projects and familiarity with university or K-12 educational environments.
