Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, you will:

  • Engage with clients to provide tailored solutions, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Cultivate specialized knowledge across various accounting disciplines while mentoring junior staff members.
  • Facilitate effective communication with engagement leaders and coordinate client meetings.
  • Address new challenges and deliver high-quality outcomes that exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of complex transactions, such as IPOs, M&A, and divestitures.
  • Navigate technical accounting frameworks, including FASB and SEC regulations, to ensure compliance.
  • Guide and supervise team members, offering constructive feedback and training.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients while identifying new engagement opportunities.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess:

  • A robust background in accounting, recognized in the top 25% of their Big Four class.
  • 5-7 years of experience in public accounting and related industries, with at least 3 years in public accounting.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a collaborative team setting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline; CPA license is preferred.
  • Versatility across various industries, including technology and life sciences.
  • A professional demeanor with a genuine passion for client service.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to motivate and lead teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for technical accounting research and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 25%).
