Our mission is to transform online education by developing a comprehensive and inclusive homeschool curriculum platform for K-12 students. We’re looking for talented Curriculum Developers to join our rapidly expanding team!

As a Curriculum Developer, you will collaborate with subject-matter experts, production teams, and instructional coaches to create immersive and academically rigorous art curriculum materials. These materials include videos, assessments, and written activities designed to captivate and educate students. We seek dedicated professionals who excel in a collaborative environment and are committed to enhancing student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop educational content for students in grades 6-12, focusing on Fine Art.
  • Film yourself creating art (only hands and artwork will be visible); voiceover is optional.
  • Ensure content is engaging, age-appropriate, and pedagogically sound.
  • Write clear, measurable lesson objectives and align materials to meet these objectives.
  • Utilize technology tools such as Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, and screencasting software.
  • Adapt instruction to accommodate various learning styles and needs.
  • Continuously assess and refine content based on feedback and educational outcomes.
  • Collaborate on special projects and assignments.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of full-time art teaching experience at the 6-12 level.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Art Education, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of effective lesson structure and experience writing lesson objectives.
  • Ability to make learning accessible and engaging for diverse student needs.
  • Proficiency in using technology to support instruction, including Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
  • Strong communication skills and a growth mindset, motivated by constructive feedback.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage schedules, and meet deadlines.
  • Access to a computer/laptop (with camera) and reliable high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional development or training in curriculum design and pedagogy.
  • Hands-on experience in curriculum design, including scripting for asynchronous video lessons.
  • Experience analyzing data to set actionable goals that improve student outcomes.
  • Familiarity with screencasting software, online instruction, or video editing.
  • Unique skills or perspectives that could enhance the role.
