Key Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

• Deliver full-time instruction and contribute to the academic rigor of the program.
• Actively engage in faculty meetings, mentoring students, advising, and serving on academic committees.
• Collaborate with colleagues on research initiatives and participate in community partnerships.
• While primarily remote, occasional in-person engagement in Flint is anticipated.
  
  

Areas of Expertise

We encourage applicants with academic specialization in the following domains:

• Rural Health
• Data Management / Analytics / Informatics
• Public Health Research Methods & Program Design (e.g., program evaluation, mixed-methods, community-based research)

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational criteria:

• Assistant Instructor: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Instructor: Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Assistant Professor: Doctorate (DrPH or PhD) in Public Health or a related field from an accredited institution.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

Preference will be given to those with experience as a Lead Instructor at the graduate level.
