Key Responsibilities

As a BCBA, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy through a hybrid model, blending remote and in-person interactions.
  • Meticulously documenting client progress during sessions, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations to maintain confidentiality.
  • Collaborating with the clinical team to communicate significant changes or concerns regarding client progress.
  • Providing direct supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure effective implementation of ABA programs.
  • Mentoring and guiding BCBA interns in their professional journey.
  • Conducting telehealth consultations and engaging with families to discuss interventions and progress.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong communication abilities for effective engagement with clients, families, and colleagues in both remote and in-person settings.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis pertaining to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • A solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Mentorship skills to support and guide colleagues and interns.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing ABA programs.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and supervising Behavior Technicians, RBTs, and BCBA interns.
  • A current BCBA certification, alongside state licensure and necessary insurance.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is also required.
  • Successful completion of a full level II DCF background check.
