Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to join our innovative team in a remote capacity. This entry-level role is a prime opportunity for individuals passionate about ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. As a vital member of our data quality management initiatives, you will collaborate with diverse teams to uphold our data’s integrity and maintain the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data quality key performance indicators (KPIs) such as completeness, accuracy, and timeliness for our business partners.
  • Effectively communicate data-related issues and enhancement opportunities to stakeholders while working in conjunction with product owners and IT teams to conduct root cause analyses.
  • Monitor, report, and evaluate data quality issues to pinpoint areas for improvement across various datasets.
  • Assist in the development and management of data quality dashboards.
  • Document data lineage for critical data elements, utilizing data lineage tools as needed.
  • Provide necessary support to Lead and Senior Data Quality Analysts as required.

Required Skills

  • A strong understanding of data quality KPIs, including completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Excellent communication abilities to effectively convey data issues and enhancement opportunities.
  • Proficient in tracking, reporting, and analyzing data quality issues across diverse datasets.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with governance tools such as Alation, Collibra, Informatica, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or other diagramming software is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience working with large datasets is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques is essential.
  • Experience with governance tools and diagramming tools is preferred.
