Key Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of claim administration from initiation to final resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations and evaluations to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Clearly articulate positions on coverage, liability, and damages to all relevant parties.
• Establish and modify expense and indemnity reserves as required.
• Advocate for cases requiring reserve authority above established parameters to management.
• Formulate and execute effective strategies for claim resolution through adept negotiation.
• Oversee litigation processes and counsel, which includes planning, budgeting, and bill review.
• Assess potential extra-contractual liabilities.
• Attend trials and mediations as necessary.
• Contribute to organizational objectives by engaging in audits, projects, training, and product development.
• Prepare in-depth reports and presentations regarding case progress and industry insights.
• Collaborate with business partners to identify claim trends and enhance customer service delivery.
• Provide critical training and marketing support to underwriters.
• Represent the organization at industry events focused on risk management and claims issues.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree preferred; a minimum of a four-year college degree is mandatory.
• At least five years of experience in managing litigated public D&O coverage and liability cases.

Compensation And Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from \(120,000 to \)180,000, based on experience and performance. In addition to base salary, our comprehensive compensation package includes potential bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits.
