Working closely with the rest of the Carbon Management and Reporting Team, the role holder will be responsible for:

Supporting clients with their Carbon Accounting journey through our centralised platform
Providing support on a wide range of energy and carbon legislative and global reporting requirements, such as SECR, CSRD UK and EU ETS, and ASRS
Focus on data analytics and management to feed into our client’s carbon accounting strategies and decarbonization projects.
Assembling and validating energy data for legislative compliance and carbon footprint reporting
Preparing and presenting formal performance reporting to clients
Carrying out internal auditing of data and compliance and support with assurance activities
Supporting Service Delivery and Commercial teams within World Kinect as a Subject Matter Expert
Managing delivery of all associated workstreams and customer expectations

PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):

Minimum 5 years of experience of carbon accounting and carbon management
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, in a relevant discipline
Knowledge of global carbon reporting standard and regulatory requirements
Solid understanding of carbon accounting methodologies
Proven customer-facing experience working with complex carbon concepts
Experience in compliance reporting for UK SECR and UK ETS
Familiarity with other international reporting frameworks such as CDP, GRI, SBTI etc is advantageous
Solid numeracy skills, confidence in working with large data sets and advanced Excel skills
Excellent English and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Confident relationship-builder
Excellent client management and project management skills
Enjoy speaking with customers, strong social skills
