Exciting Opportunity: IT Commercial & Licensing Specialist at Team Global Express

Join Team Global Express as an IT Commercial & Licensing Specialist and become a key player in our IT Business Service function!

About the Role:

In this role, you’ll work closely with the IT Commercial & Licensing Manager and various internal teams to streamline IT contracts, licensing, and vendor relationships, ensuring optimal IT expenditure. Your expertise will be vital in improving processes, driving efficiencies, and ensuring compliance across IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

IT License Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities to optimize IT license utilization, drive cost savings, and consolidate licenses in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Ensure regular audits, usage tracking, and compliance with licensing agreements, maintaining accurate license records.
  • Evaluate business needs for IT products/services to validate retention, volume, and overall utilization.

IT Commercial Support:

  • Support IT contract management in coordination with Procurement, Legal, and other internal teams, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Assist with contract renewal forecasts, lifecycle management, and the monitoring of contract performance.
  • Provide governance support to ensure effective IT commercial management and process improvements, streamlining administration and boosting efficiency.

IT Vendor Governance Support:

  • Help lead consistent vendor strategies and governance across IT, building strong vendor relationships and supporting performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and enforce vendor compliance with contractual terms, service level agreements, and deliverables.

IT Purchasing Support:

  • Assist in the purchasing process, including generating purchase orders, vendor setups, and tracking order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to control IT expenses, ensuring alignment with financial guidelines and budget management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of IT commercial processes, licensing agreements, and vendor management.
  • Experience with IT purchasing processes, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in spreadsheets and a conceptual understanding of IT Managed Services.
  • Project management knowledge, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Information Services, or relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in IT commercial and purchasing administration.
