We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Data Science in Personalization, a pivotal role within our Global AI & Data Innovation team. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of data scientists in creating AI-driven products and services that enhance personalized customer experiences across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge personalization models and signals that drive AI products and services worldwide.
  • Forge a strategic vision for data science capabilities specifically within the personalization domain, while overseeing the creation of large-scale data science systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, fostering a culture centered on collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Apply advanced data science methodologies to deliver significant business impact, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate data science capabilities into business processes and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive personalization data science strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Spark.
  • Familiarity with data science tools, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Proven capability to lead and mentor a team of data scientists, driving high-quality outputs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exhibiting intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years with an Advanced degree.
  • At least 15 years of hands-on experience in developing advanced data science models, with 8 years in leadership roles.
  • Advanced Degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, Statistics, or a similarly quantitative discipline is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services or payments industry is advantageous but not required.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Estimated salary range of \(174,900 to \)321,550 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentives and bonuses.
