Job Description:

Data Transformation Expert:

  • Source, cleanse, and prepare data from disparate sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs, etc.) ensuring accuracy, consistency, and suitability for analysis.

  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to streamline data preparation for Power BI reporting.

Power BI Architect:

  • Design and develop visually impactful and informative dashboards using Power BI, highlighting KPIs, critical trends, and actionable insights.

  • Master DAX calculations to create custom metrics and perform complex data analysis within Power BI.

  • Build robust and performant data models within Power BI to power dynamic and interactive reporting.

End-to-End Ownership:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed and accurate reporting requirements.

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of BI solutions, from design and development to deployment, maintenance, and user support.

  • Proactively update and enhance existing Power BI dashboards to ensure continuous value and adaptability to evolving business needs.

Analytical Thinker:

  • Conduct insightful data analysis using Power BI capabilities to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

  • Present findings clearly and concisely, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Collaborative Partner:

  • Partner with business teams to deeply understand their unique reporting needs, proactively suggest innovative reporting solutions, and offer guidance based on your Power BI expertise.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to empower users to make the most of Power BI's capabilities for data exploration and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Power BI Mastery: 2+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard design, DAX, data modeling, and visualization.

  • Data Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate them into clear recommendations.

  • Visual Communication: Talent for creating compelling, user-friendly data visualizations that effectively tell a story.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders, understand needs, and explain technical concepts.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Business, etc.).

  • Certifications in Power BI or other BI tools.
