Systems Engineer Senior/Lead

As an IT systems engineer senior or lead on the Enterprise Operation Engineering team, you'll enhance processes, automation, and technology to be more proactive in reducing the impact of system outages. In this role, you'll establish consistent practices across all Infrastructure Operation teams, leading to improved collaboration and more efficient outcomes. You'll work with the organization to adopt modern technologies and innovative approaches to proactively manage and resolve operational issues more effectively. You'll develop comprehensive, end-to-end operational views across platforms, enabling better visibility and more informed decision-making. Additionally, you'll ensure alignment with network and IT security organizations.

This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math or other related field of study and minimum of four years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems may be accepted
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Extensive experience in network and/or security to contribute to the overall health and resilience of our infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of Splunk, including SPL, MLTK, and ITSI with the ability to use the tools to extract valuable insights from data and drive operational improvements
• Experience with infrastructure teams across a large enterprise with the ability to identify and implement consistent operational practices, leveraging Artificial Intelligent for Operations (AIOps) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) techniques
• Passion to stay updated on the latest advancements in new technologies and remain at the forefront of the field of operations engineering
  
  

Compensation

• $111,870 - $139,200/year depending on position level
• Gainshare bonus up to either 30% or 40% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
