Position Summary:  

As a Director, Customer Acquisition, you will be part of the E-commerce team at Truckstop.com and have a significant, direct impact on the growth of the business. You and your team will lead acquisition and activation strategies across our products to drive company growth. The Director, Customer Acquisition will be instrumental in setting the go-to-market acquisition strategy for all new ventures, product launches; from budget creation, through product launch, and then defining where the product best supports our customer acquisition aspirations. 

The Director will lead a results-oriented and audience-focused team with a creative, data-driven approach to discovering, engaging and activating specific audiences for Truckstop.com. The engagement team would consist of social media management, paid channels (e.g. SEM, Display, etc), and content discovery (SEO). The Director ensures that the engagement team is aligned on strategy and delivers results for the overall Truckstop business. The engagement team would work with internal stakeholders, business leaders and customers to develop and implement engagement strategies that best meet the business needs.  

This role will implement strategy and execute tactics through deep expertise in e-commerce revenue growth, digital marketing, and data-driven decision making. 

 

Essential Job Functions: 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive customer acquisition strategies to drive business growth  
  • Responsible for increasing overall traffic to the site through a variety of channels  
  • Lead media buying and affiliate marketing efforts with internal team members and external agency partners  
  • Analyze data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities to increase traffic to the Truckstop.com properties.  
  • Experiment continuously with content and posts in social channels to engage our target customers. 
  • Create and manage campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet business objectives  
  • Develop and execute creative growth strategies, leveraging a variety of channels and tactics  
  • Oversee conversion rate optimization efforts with internal team members  
  • Build, lead, inspire, and motivate a team to achieve and exceed customer acquisition goals  
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of acquisition efforts, and report those to key stakeholders across the company  
  • Overcome obstacles and creatively solve problems to drive continuous improvement  
  • Implement and optimize growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives  
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team, while empowering them to succeed  
  • Navigate competitive environments with confidence and strategic insight  
  • Maintain a running list of creative growth strategies and stay ahead of industry trends  
     
Position Requirements: 
  • 10+ years of experience in customer acquisition, growth marketing, or a related role  
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or Analytical field (or other relevant discipline) preferred  
  • Track record of delivering business outcomes for new products and initiatives in the digital space  
  • Strong financial modeling and deck making skills to tell a convincing story to stakeholders 
  • Strong analytical rigor to your decision making; results oriented with the need to be objective and measure performance  
  • Proven growth mindset; data driven, analytical, product driven, and highly creative  
  • Ability and eagerness to effectively balance the big-picture strategic work with execution

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a yearly bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$165,000$190,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
