See Yourself as a VP, National Correspondent Account Executive

The VP, Correspondent National Account Executive (NAE) is responsible for sourcing, signing, developing, and maintaining correspondent customer relationships that sell loan production to RMC (Radian Mortgage Capital) that meet the guidelines associated with our various loan products. NAEs function as a liaison between Sellers and loan operations to facilitate the purchase of mortgage loans. NAEs perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and abide by all applicable state and federal laws that govern the business. RMC Correspondent NAEs are outside sales associates and are responsible for whatever travel is necessary to establish relationships, build and grow our business at prescribed levels.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise of RMC Seller approval and onboarding, loan programs/products/pricing, as well as company lending policies and guidelines.
  • Source and pre-qualify potential customers based on RMC guidelines. Provide proactive follow-up as necessary during onboarding process to facilitate activation of Sellers.
  • Sell features and benefits of RMC to potential customers and facilitate the completion of applications for Seller approval.
  • Assist Sellers with pricing and loan submission processes/procedures and systems.
  • Solicit feedback from Sellers regarding pricing and provide feedback to capital markets on an ongoing basis.
  • Acts as a liaison between Sellers and internal RMC team members to ensure timely purchase of loans.
  • Monitor customer loan production and pipelines to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Efficiently log and maintain opportunities, progress, and notes the Salesforce system
  • Provide high-quality, insightful weekly highlight reports to upper management
  • Actively participate in bi-weekly RMC calls with department heads to discuss customer feedback and product needs
  • Play an integral role in the monthly RMC business update to the Executive team as requested

Qualifications

Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Work Experience: 10 years of prior work-related experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry, Capital Markets/Secondary, Credit/Risk and Sales experience are essential skills required for this position.
  • History of exceeding sales production goals and objectives.
  • Ability to be a team player, that respects others, demonstrates high intellect, and emotional maturity while aggressively pursuing goals.
  • Advanced communication skills, presentation skills as well as written communications (both internally and externally).
