Software Developer - C#/.NET

Blackstone Talent Group is seeking a Jr Software Developers for one of our premier clients.

This role is ideal for a recent college grad or someone early in their career looking to be part of an awesome team.

Job Duties:

• Supports the development of system user documentation
• Supports the development of system coding documentation
• Supports identification of potential changes to scope or schedule
• Supports research and implementation of new tools and methods
• Develop plans to overcome obstacles using problem-solving and critical thinking
• Communicates with the product owner and customer to document needs
• Generates detailed plans for developing software to meet the project needs
• Develops unit tests and validation tests for the product
• Produces code consistent with coding standards
• Follows Source Control Management (SCM) and branching guidelines
• Accurately communicates complicated technical concepts within the Software Services team
• Actively participates in code reviews (pull requests)
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• A current and valid driver’s license is required at all times
• Demonstrable object-oriented design and programming skills
• Experience with one of the following: C#, ASP.Net or .Net
• Recent experience developing applications using MVVM and ORM frameworks
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio (Version 2015 or higher)
• Experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core
• Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous delivery development environment
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret data
• Ability and desire to learn new programming languages and technologies
• Experience in database design, database normalization, and SQL
• Demonstrable computer skills, with experience using Microsoft® Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Must effectively work in a team environment
