Job Description

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you’ll spearhead the creation of a comprehensive five-year business plan using cutting-edge financial software. This pivotal role involves translating complex financial data into strategic insights, directly shaping the company’s growth trajectory. You’ll work independently to develop detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and reports suitable for high-stakes presentations to potential investors and banks. This position offers a unique blend of financial analysis, strategic planning, and the chance to make a significant impact in a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed five-year financial forecast using LivePlan software
  
• Transfer and analyze financial data from QuickBooks Desktop to LivePlan, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  
• Create comprehensive budget, cash flow, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements
  
• Prepare professional-grade financial reports for potential bank and investor presentations
  
• Work autonomously on financial planning tasks, managing time effectively with periodic check-ins
  
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and funding opportunities
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong focus on financial forecasting and budgeting
  
• Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and ability to quickly adapt to new financial software
  
• Proven track record of creating accurate, detailed financial reports and forecasts
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  
• Superior communication skills, particularly in explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  
• Flexibility to engage via various communication platforms (WhatsApp, Zoom, etc.)
  
• Willingness to grow with the company and potentially take on expanded responsibilities
