Job Title: VMware, Windows, and Linux L3 Administrator
 
Location: India
 
Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Timing: 5pm to 2am IST
 
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced VMware, Windows, and Linux L3 Administrator to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting VMware environments, Windows servers, and Linux systems.
This role requires a deep understanding of virtualization, server administration, and network protocols.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
BareMetal Experience : NUTANIX, HP Proliant, Dell Servers, IBM servers, Cisco UCS
 
VMware Administration:
 
Manage and maintain VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi hosts.
Having experience with Datastore and Storage management including zoning.
Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to VMware infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware performance, storage, and networking.
Implement and manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
 
Windows Server Administration:
 
Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows server performance and connectivity.
 
Linux Administration:
 
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
Perform regular updates, patches, and system backups.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux server performance and connectivity.
 
General Responsibilities:
 
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement new solutions.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Provide L3 support for escalated issues and mentor junior team members.
 
Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in VMware administration.
5+ years of experience in Windows server administration.
5+ years of experience in Linux server administration.
Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, MCSE, RHCE) are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Preferred Skills:
 
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
