We are currently seeking a dedicated Nurse LPN/RN to provide direct and indirect care at our Crisis Stabilization Center. As part of our mission to offer quality and compassionate care, this role is vital for coordinating services to individuals facing behavioral crises. You will work collaboratively with a skilled healthcare team to educate patients and their families, ensuring comprehensive care is delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and pain assessments
• Monitor vital signs, apply dressings, and provide daily care to individuals
• Handle medication administration, including injections and observing self-administration
• Manage medications through the MAR (Medication Administration Record) while ensuring safety and compliance
• Educate patients on physical health and medication protocols
• Coordinate care with staff, patients, families, physicians, and pharmacies
• Document observable changes in behavior and physical conditions
• Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures
• Educate new employees on procedures and protocols
• Participate in team and leadership meetings
• Manage communication effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Provide direct care to adults, including those in distress or agitation
• Be available for mandatory overtime as needed
  
  

Education Requirements

• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  
  

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience; experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
  
  

Licensure/Certification

• Valid LPN or RN license in Missouri required
