Senior RPA Consultant-Web Scraping Audit Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Consultant with deep expertise in auditing web scraping code in JavaScript and Python. The ideal candidate will have experience working with legacy systems, performing in-depth audits, and ensuring that the code meets modern security, efficiency, and scalability standards. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring business processes are optimized through automation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Audit and Review: Perform a thorough audit of web scraping scripts written in both JavaScript and Python for a long-standing project. Identify areas for optimization, security risks, and potential improvements. 
• Optimization and Maintenance: Refactor and enhance existing code to ensure it meets current industry best practices, especially in terms of efficiency and security. 
• Technical Documentation: Create and update comprehensive documentation detailing code structure, audit findings, optimization suggestions, and potential RPA integration points. 
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand the implications of the code and its impact on business processes. 
• Compliance and Security Standards: Ensure all code meets relevant compliance and data security regulations, particularly if sensitive data is being processed. 
• RPA Development: Design, develop, and implement new automated processes using RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, integrating the optimized web scraping functionality. 
• Project Management: Work within an Agile or Six Sigma framework to ensure project milestones are met and communicated effectively to stakeholders. 

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript and Python, particularly in the context of web scraping. 
• Extensive experience with web scraping frameworks such as Selenium, Scrapy, or BeautifulSoup. 
• Proven track record in code auditing, debugging, and security assessments. 
• Hands-on experience with RPA platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism. 
• Familiarity with API integration and handling large datasets (JSON/XML). 
• Experience working within version control systems like Git. 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) as they pertain to automated processes. 
• Agile or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
