Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft 365 (M365) Administrator to manage the deployment, use, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Additionally, they should excel at presenting complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Configure and customize M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Office 365 applications.
  • Assist and provide guidance in implementing security and compliance features such as data loss prevention (DLP), conditional access, Defender, and information protection policies.
  • Use the Admin Center to manage users and groups, assign administrative roles, and configure security and privacy settings.
  • Regularly review reports to enhance the overall efficiency of the Office 365 environment. Monitor the health and performance of M365 services using built-in tools and third-party monitoring solutions.
  • Provide support to employees for technical and configuration issues related to Microsoft 365 applications.

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Candidate should either have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years experience or HS Diploma and 12 years experience
  • Strong familiarity with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process, including change management and IT service management.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of M365 environments.
  • Experience with M365 security and compliance features, such as DLP, information protection, and audit logging.
  • Relevant Microsoft or cloud certifications, such as MS-900, MS-102.
  • Experience in the Azure environment for the government.
  • Familiarity with Intune, SCCM, or Endpoint Manager for application and device management.
  • Secret DoD clearance
  • Must be able to obtain Security Plus certification within 6 weeks of hire

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
