Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Assignment

Magazine Student Editor. Students will edit Assignment, the online literary magazine of the Low-Residency MFA in Fiction and Nonfiction, to provide a forum for student writing and interviews with authors students are interested in.

Job Duties:

  • Create and edit and curate content for the online literary magazine, including short essays, short stories, and blog posts
  • Manage social media channels for the literary magazine as well
  • Acquire skills useful in publishing and editorial jobs, including proofreading and layout design.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
