Job Description
The Director of Architecture of Architecture is a responsible for leading a team of architects responsible for the architectural integrity, performance, and scalability of Oracle Restaurants GIU software.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, excellent in people management, and possess business acumen. You understand how to balance business needs with solid architecture. You understand solution excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of accountability and ownership within your team. Industry experience is desired.
Required Skills And Experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills – both executive level and technical level.
- 10+ years of experience designing/building/supporting enterprise cloud software.
- Deep knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience with high performance transaction data systems.
- 5+ years of experience with high performance data analytics.
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Experience with highly scalable systems.
- Experience with Cloud Native technologies including Kubernetes and Containers.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and Android development.
- Knowledge of Java, .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
- Strong data modeling skills.
- Knowledge of SQL (Oracle a plus).
- Knowledge of UX design methodologies and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct team of enterprise architects responsible for multiple products including POS, Back Office, Kitchen Management, Labor, and Inventory.
- Oversee architectural decisions for existing product portfolio.
- Drive next generation architecture.
- Drive migration path for existing customers to next generation.
- Maintain architectural artifacts.
- Oversee architectural governance.
- Executive presentations (internal and external).

US: Hiring Range: from $120,300 - $291,900 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
